We have a snake...

Really.  At least for now.  While prepping the yard for a garden, I saw a little garter snake.  I of course, screamed and ran.  Everyone else was so excited!  We happen to have an extra tank outside for whatever the kids find.  Last week there was a frog in it.  There is no lid so obviously that didn't last long.  There are worms and all sorts of bugs.  So in the snake went...and then they found all sorts of worms and bugs for him.  Sammy named him Sammy...Ochoa, not Portugal.  He has lasted 3 day so far...clearly can't escape.  I'm ok with this only because the husband wanted a BOA.  At least this is delaying that dream a bit.  Meanwhile, I am convincing Nathaniel that Boas eat kids so he will be on my side.

Yep.   I forgot I had a blog.  We are excited that spring is finally here!  Nathaniel has started his garden.  He has sugar snap peas, tons of flowers, carrots, lettuce, lavender, pumpkins, peppers and I'm sure more.  Right now we have the food indoors until we figure out what to do with it.  I want to build a walk in garden in the yard so we'll see if it gets done!  Nathaniel is finally reading really well! YAY!  He is reading about 5 books at once.:)  Sammy is still loving kindergarten and has requested that Mrs. Barber erase the days back to the beginning.  He loves her.  I'm still hoping she doesn't retire so all of the kids can have her!  Giana is definitely in her sassy 2's but very mild.  Still the calmest of all 4!  Sophie is by far the sassiest and I don't think this is an age thing.  I'm fairly certain she'll always be like this.:)  I am still unemployed and loving it.  I'll try to update more but we know how that goes!
