Sammy the STRANGE

So, I took Sammy and Sophie to the mall today and we walked through JC Penny. Sammy had to stop and talk to every mannequin, shake their hand and tell me how cute they were. THen he looked in the mirror and said "hey what's that Sammy doing over there?" Then he walked up to a random kid in a stroller and said "that's my best friend!" The child is nuts! Good thing he's cute!

Thats right! Finally at 10 months, the princess decided to walk! Of course, she only walks to food but whatever works! She also finally got teeth! 4 in a week! 2 are still not quite through but one top and one bottom are poking out with the others sure to come soon! Luckily it is the middle 2 top and bottom! She learned to clap and play peek a boo all in the last week! She gives kisses and waves when asked and she says hi. She's learning new things so fast now! She also knows how to climb on the coffee table...fun times!

The boys are done with soccer next week and Nathaniel will start again in September with all his tball friends. The tball games were so fun! All of the kids played so well and Nathaniel made the best dirt designs! Nathaniel will keep going to gymnastics on Fridays in the fall. His biggest excitement is preschool! WE WENT TODAY AND SIGNED HIM UP FOR 2 FULL DAYS A WEEK! He told them his name is Indiana Jones! I'm hoping to get the boys in swimming lessons too. Sammys new thing is to ask "but what does *insert object here* do?" it's cute...kind of.:) He's also taking after his brother and singing Spiderman while jumping off the furniture. Boys.

so. My phone broke 2 weeks ago. They said I could get a replacement for free but if they found it was broken from liquid damage or because I dropped it they would charge me $300!!!! That's more than I paid for the damn phone! And OF COURSE. I don't get the special price if I buy a new phone because I just renewed my contract. I have been with these fools that call themselves AT&T since I was 16! I've put up with the bs of becoming Cingular when I had to buy a new compatible phone and getting sent to collections because they opened a new line for me instead of transfering my line when I moved to Oregon and not telling me. Cut me some slack idiots! But I want the iPhone for $200 not $400. So genius me figured out that I can add a 3rd line and get the good price. Yes it will me an extra $10 a month but whatever. I need a phone I can use! Estebans old blackberry is not cutting it! Plus if him, sara and jeff get an iPhone then I do too! It's only fair and life is always fair.

My big baby event is coming up at work! I thought it was big last year but this year it crazy! 37 appointments already!

Sophie is so ready to walk! It strange that she isn't walking yet since both boys did but she also has no teeth. I know that's irrelevant but whatever. Maybe she'll do both by 10 months. She makes the craziest faces! Such a little gremlin! Haha

Nathaniel has busy Tuesdays! Gymnastics soccer and tball! He's having so much fun though! Not very good at tball but he has fun. He's getting good at his video games too! Lego starwars and tak are his favorites. He's amazing. And he has such an attitude!

Sammy is also in soccer. He likes to run bit not kick the ball. And he still won't get a proper haircut so it's still crazy. I think we'll have to cut it while he's sleeping again. It's getting long. He's a strange child. He was talking to estebans foot last night. He has a huge imagination! He's talking so much now! He likes to say "Barack Obama " over and over. Haha.

And now I'm tired of typing on my iPod so I'll write more later.

Sammys birthday party

It was super hot so all the kids pretty much played in the water outside all day. 3 hours went by fast! I don't know what I would have done with 8 kids and a ton of adults inside the whole time!!! Sammy wouldn't get out of the pool so Nathaniel opened his presents for him.:) Worked out well for both of them. I am so tired go clean up the party mess.....photos later.

Sammys hair

So Sammys hair is crazy. He freaks out if we mention cutting it but it goes over his eyes. So today while he was sleeping, Esteban cut it........well half of it. He got the front, top, one side and part of the back.....so he has a part mullet/part stuck in the fan look going on. Hopefully it will be corrected by his birthday party on Saturday!!!

Sophie stood up by herself for 7 seconds yesterday not holding on to anything! I think she'll be walking soon!!

Happy Mothers Day to me!

I had a super day! Ok well I worked most of it but that was my own doing.... but we went to dinner and I got a camera for my purse which is super!:) Sophie is grumpy so I'll have to write more tomorrow....which btw is Sammys birthday.

About it being SPRING.......

Remember how Spring started? Apparently we didn't get the memo because we have been in a winter storm watch! We got about 7-8 inches of snow here yesterday! After searching the house for the snow pants and boots, the boys had a ton of fun outside! Of course Sammy hit a growth spurt since I bought the stuff so it was a bit small but he was cute anyways. I of course am in spring mode and am wearing short sleeves and flip flops. At least I have my mochas to keep me warm.

Sammy has been hiding his talents and out of the blue last week he counted to 10! I didn't even know he could count to 2.

Nathaniel is still going to gymnastics and has become a mini Starbucks fan. I asked him why he was so grumpy the other morning and he said "because I haven't had my morning mocha" He doesn't know I secretly tell them to make a hot chocolate.

Sophie is a pro at sitting now and still has a goofy smile. She doesn't look like she's going to crawl anytime soon but she likes to roll around. With 2 crazy brothers, she doesn't get much time on the floor.

I've had a crazy work schedule for the last month, working long days on the weekends and 5-10 every night except one. It's been nice being able to take the kids places during the day but it's not easy keeping track of all 3 by myself so we try to stick to contained areas.

I don't have much internet time since we moved the computers upstairs but I'll get to updating photos today or tomorrow for sure. Here's a couple for now though.....

by the way, I was the only one here that never got sick....yay me! But I did have to deal with a week and a half of somebody throwing up everyday!

Update....

well I slept for about 45 minutes...it was great. Sophie is still throwing up milk but doing ok on pedialyte so I guess I'll keep her on that until the morning. She barely peed all day so I'm most likely going to hit up the dr before work in the morning. On the plus side, she has stopped coughing and hacking stuff up from the cold she just got over! Sammy threw up last night again but has been fine today...other than his face is breaking out in a rash.....I think he might be allergic to something in pizza...he had the same rash when we had pizza before....but only those 2 times so who knows. Nathaniel is at grandmas for the night....with sammys carseat. When Esteban got home I said see ya! and took a much needed 2 hour trip to Starbucks and Target. At least I'm rested mentally now.:)

The flu has hit!

So Nathaniel started throwing up monday night....all through the night but acted fine the next day so we packed up with my sisters to go see puppies....drove an hour, 10 minuttes from puppies and Nathaniel threw up everywhere. We drove home in a nice smelling car. So he was sick all Tuesday. Stopped about 10pm. Sammy woke up today throwing up, and he feels the need to walk around while he throws up and then eat more....so my couch and living room are covered. Nice. Then Esteban came home, threw up. I went to work...had to get out. Now Sophie is throwing up and I feel sick too. She won't go to sleep without eating but everytime I feed her she throws up everywhere. So now I have a soaking wet bed, no blankets, sick kids, and my house reeks! If this doesn't end in like.....10 minutes I'm going to scream and punch someone in the throat! Oh and we can't get the cover off of Nathaniels carseat so we tried to spray it down and now it's soaking wet but doesn't smell any better so we can't go anywhere since he has no carseat!!!!

2 days until my birthday!

Who's excited??? I am!

Sophie is almost sitting! She can sit for maybe 5 seconds but she's getting there! She's also standing holding onto something. No balance yet but she's got the strength! She just hit a huge growth spurt and can wear 3-6 month clothes now! She still fits 0-3 but they are perfect so I've been getting bigger. It's so strange because I just moved her up to a 3-6 like a month ago!

Sammy is talking more everyday! He says "you're awesome" now. haha He also has started telling knock jokes....kind of. He says "knock knock" then we say who's there and he says "Boo" and we say Boo Who? And then he just laughs.:) Nathaniel is still trying to potty train him. He's catching on more so maybe by the time he's 2.....but I'm not holding my breath since I'm leaving it up to a 3 year old to teach him!:)

Nathaniel is doing great in Gymnastics and we might do a private lesson once a month to help him move up to the next class sooner. He has been in the next class a few times when his teacher was gone and he loved it!

I finally found a mini aussie breeder around here! I'm so excited! We're going to go down and see them and see if Nathaniel likes them soon. Not sure when we'll actually get it but I'm so excited at the thought of having a mini minute!:)

Estebans birthday is tomorrow!

So nobody has an excuse to forget! I know everyone reads my blog daily because I'm so witty and insightful .......right? Seriously. We're having his party today. Transformers theme. He's getting such adult presents....an Xbox, games, fun shirts......he'll love it all.

Sophie is still being a pain about the bottle. We've moved her to a sippy cup and she's doing better but still not well enough to keep her happy all day. Coming home on my lunch seems to help a lot though. Hopefully she'll get the hang of it soon. I have officially decided that she no longer fits into her up to 7 pounds shirts....but the pants still work. She's getting so big!!! Except her legs. Those are still small.:)

Nathaniel has surprised me once again! I had no idea he knew how to recognize numbers! I wrote them all out and pointed to them not in order and he knew 1,2,3,5,6,9, and sometimes 10.4,7, and 8 he still is working on. The boy amazes me! His new video game is doing wonders! He is obsessed with that thing and gets so excited when Sammy goes to sleep so he can play it! I can't wait until he has his own DS so he doesn't have to use my pretty pink one.

Sammy is talking a ton now....well a ton for Sammy. He pushes buttons on the tv and says "press play" and he says milk, more, please, fall down, mama bite, bowl, spoon, food, meow, dada, spongebob, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. Nathaniel and Sammy also sing the goodnight show song together. Very cute. Sammy copies EVERYTHING Nathaniel does. It's pretty funny.

Where is my wallet?

So last week I went to Starbucks for my daily mocha (it was really good) in the morning. In the afternoon, I realized my wallet was gone. I am 80% sure that I put my wallet back in my purse but that would mean that it was taken from work and I hate to think I work with a thief so I assume I left it at Starbucks. Anyways, the idiot spent about $150 and got me $100 in overdraft fees....hopefully that will all be reversed soon. I used the same damn wallet for like 10 years and I just got a new one for Christmas and it gets stolen! Figures. It was so cute too!!! Today I got my license in the mail....return address "found on ren-issaquah rd on 1/17/08" Either a thief with a heart or a really nice person. Anyhow, I'm glad theres nobody out there with my ID. I had to close all of my accounts and get a new card, but at least I have my ID. Hopefully they threw out all my photos....I hate thinking about some creep walking around with photos of my kids. I filed a police report to make it easier to contest the charges with my bank. I know they could care less and won't actually investigate it but I really wish they would so I can know who the idiot is. I hope they enjoyed the pizza, gas, groceries, and new wallet I unwillingly gave them.

Back to work

I started back to work on Friday the 4th! Esteban calls it my paid break and sadly I have to agree. He has the hardest job for sure watching all 3 kids while still working from home! Being away from Sophie is hard since she still isn't taking a bottle. Esteban has to just squirt milk in her mouth. She must be getting something in that tummy because she still is in a good mood when I get home....although she does cry a lot during the day. She loves watching digg nation with Esteban! He is so proud since it's his favorite show! Hopefully she'll take to the bottle soon! On the plus side since she doesn't eat much, she doesn't poop all day until I fedd her after work so Esteban gets out of changing her still! Work is going well. Of course I'm not fully trained in all of the new digital stuff but it's been fun. It will be nice having 2 incomes again again and catching up on bills after Christmas!

I was so spoiled!

I had the best Christmas ever!!! Esteban got me an iPod touch which I love and a pink Nintendo DS!! He also got 2 games for it. It's so fun! I carry them both everywhere! I also got High School musical for the Wii, a new purse and wallett, starbucks giftcards, a digital keychain, guitar hero, a digital photography book, a diana+ camera, a ukelele, a giant scrapbook and tons of other stuff. It was great! My sister and I all got matching pajamas and Sophie got the cutest sock monkey slippers!! Sleeping at my moms in a room with 10 people wasn't so fun.....I think I slept for an hour or 2 but it was an adventure!:)

Saving the best for Church....

If you remember last years Christmas Eve church service and Nathaniels yelling and dancing then you should know it was coming again. Before Christmas, Annie was in a church play. She was a detective for the Bethlehem PD. It was awesome. We got there late, no chairs left, with all 3 kids. Nathaniel was crying because Esteban wouldn't get off his chair, Sammy decided to start talking and yelled "let's go!" after a line in the play, and Sophie continuously pooped so loud that an usher came to tell me where the changing table was.
